Membrane Water Treatment Full Process Solution

Seawater Pretreatment
The selection of the pretreatment process mainly depends on the raw seawater quality obtained from the intake system and the feed water quality required for the reverse osmosis (RO) system.
For seawater with a year-round oil and grease content exceeding 1 mg/L, turbidity exceeding 5 NTU, and high levels of algae and total organic carbon (TOC), the “flocculation – dissolved air flotation (DAF)/sedimentation – filtration” pretreatment process is recommended. Within this process, the filtration step should adopt either “dual-media filtration” or “single-media filtration followed by ultrafiltration (UF)/microfiltration (MF) membrane filtration”.
